There will be carrier-side maintenance to long code routes July 6, 2020 6:00 am EDT till 8:00 am EDT. During the maintenance, the carrier's SMS/SMSC platform will be unavailable for 5 minutes. Messages sent from any Canadian operators during this time will be queued and delivered once the service is restored. Please note that Aerialink services such as the portal and the API will be uninterrupted during this time, but delivery on the carrier side will be affected.

Resolved - Verizon Wireless has confirmed that there was a brief period of message delays in the AM. At this time they are not seeing any issues and messages are being delivered without delays.

Resolved - The root cause of this incident was discovered and a fix was implemented. After extended monitoring, it is confirmed that the implemented fix has resolved the issue.

Monitoring - We have addressed a network issue to the carriers and while we are not currently witnessing any duplication at present we continue to monitor the issue at this time.

Investigating - A sporadic duplication issue has been identified for some outbound (MT) messages originating from short code and toll-free senders. We are currently investigating this issue and will update with more information as it is available.

Scheduled - Aerialink will be pushing an update that allows customers to specify custom parameters when using a customer supplied S3 bucket. Currently it is possible to supply an S3 bucket with API key and secret but in some cases it may be necessary to also include a custom parameter, for example an ACL parameter.

No downtime or service interruption is expected during this update.
