A short code carrier partner will be performing emergency maintenance impacting Verizon Wireless - Puerto Rico short code (route 1) SMS services.
The maintenance is scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 9:00 PM PT and to finish July 22, 2026 by 11:00 PM PT. During the maintenance window, customers may experience intermittent latency impacting Verizon Wireless - Puerto Rico inbound (MO) SMS messaging via short code (route 1).
